Special Events

There are four events that we think are pretty special to the people of Laurens County. We hold them annually and would love for you to be a part of any of them!

Day of Caring - This is an annual event where 100 or more volunteers are deployed to local agencies funded by United Way of Laurens County for a one day beautification event. Our Day of Caring was held on April 14 this year and benefitted 14 of United Way's partner agencies. Click here for more information on how you can be involved and to see pictures of our volunteers in action.

Golf Tournament - United Way of Laurens County hosts an annual Golf Tournament to benefit our Imagination Library Program. This year, our tournament was held on Monday, May 5, at Lakeside Country Club. Click here for details...

Samaritan's Supper - This once a year benefit was held Tuesday, June 3 at 120 Musgrove in Clinton with proceeds benefitting our School Supplies Drive. Click here for more information.

School Supplies Drive - Each year, United Way enlists the help of volunteers, students, and teachers to collect school supplies for underprivileged children in our community. It's coming up quick - August 1-2 we'll be onsite at Wal-mart in Laurens. Click here to see how last year's event went...
