. Over 530 bags were Bags of Love were collected from local businesses and community members. Once again this year, the event was a great success. Bags were delivered not only to Meals on Wheels recipients but also to the residents of both Laurens and Clinton NHCs, residents at the Laurens County

2012 VITA Program
|
|
The 2012 VITA Program offered by United Way of Laurens County will be offered to the local community during the months of February, March, and April. Households who made under $50,000 in 2011 may qualify for free federal and state tax preparation and filing. The VITA program sites are the main office of PRTC in Laurens and the ISO Poly Films plant in Gray Court. Click here for site schedules.

FIR A Cause 2011

Our 2nd Annual 'FIR' A Cause Christmas Tree Auction is underway, and off to a great start! A big 'THANK YOU' to Lanford Industrial Services for sponsoring this event. And another big 'THANK YOU' to the PRTC Retail Store in Laurens for hosting the 'FIR' A Cause tree!

VITA Program Available

United Way of Laurens County will offer FREE Tax Preparation services through the VITA Collaborative Program.
VITA = Volunteer Income Tax Assistance.
Through a collaborative grant with Greenville, Laurens, Pickens, Spartanburg, and Anderson Counties we will now have two available VITA sites for residents in our community. ISO Poly Films of Gray Court and the PRTC office in Laurens have graciously agreed to host these sites during the months of February, March, and
